Climbing & high ropes course
Climbing holidays for beginners and advanced climbers
Kanzianiberg, the climbing paradise on Lake Faak
The Kanzianiberg on Lake Faak is possibly Austria's largest and most traditional climbing garden and is located just a few kilometres from the village of SCHÖNLEITN. Here, beginners and advanced climbers will find climbing routes for all levels of difficulty, from easy, secured via ferratas to challenging routes. The local climbing schools also organise workshops for adults and children for their first ‘mountain experience’.
High ropes courses & climbing gardens in the border triangle
High ropes courses are not only a popular destination for families with children, but also offer adults an ideal half-day excursion with an adrenalin kick. The Taborhöhe high ropes course (Faaker See), Gerlitzen adventure park and Ossiach climbing forest (Ossiacher See) as well as the Tscheppaschlucht forest ropes course (Ferlach) are all within easy reach of the village of SCHÖNLEITN. The hotel village is also ideal as a base camp for day climbing trips to Italy and Slovenia.
Climbing elements for teams & families in the hotel village
There are three high ropes elements available directly in the hotel village SCHÖNLEITN especially for team activities, which are also frequently used in the family programme and can be tried out with a trained guide. The elements ‘the pole’, ‘king x’ and ‘flying bridge’ can be booked for seminars and team training sessions, for enquiries please contact +43 50 23 84 210 or seminar@naturelhotels.com .
